RSS Mourns the Passing of Ratan Tata, Celebrates His Contributions to India’s Growth

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has expressed profound sorrow over the loss of renowned industrialist Ratan Tata, calling his passing a significant loss for the nation.

In a statement, RSS Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat and Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale offered heartfelt tributes, referring to Tata as “a priceless gem” and commending his invaluable contributions to India’s progress.

“The passing of Ratan Tata is deeply saddening for all Indians. With his departure, India has lost an irreplaceable jewel. His impact on the country’s development will be forever remembered. Through his pioneering initiatives across key industries, he set remarkable standards,” the statement read.

The RSS also emphasized Tata’s commitment to societal welfare. “Whether it was in the realms of national unity, security, development, or employee well-being, Ratan ji’s innovative thinking and efforts served as true inspiration. His humility and simplicity, despite immense success, were exemplary traits,” they added.

In an emotional tribute, the RSS leaders stated, “We extend our heartfelt respects to his sacred memory and pray for the peace of his soul.”

Ratan Tata passed away at Breach Candy Hospital on Wednesday due to age-related health issues, at the age of 86.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde announced that his cremation will be conducted with full state honors. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will represent the Government of India at Tata’s funeral.

At the crematorium, his remains, draped in the national flag, will receive a police gun salute before being consigned to the flames, as confirmed by his family.

His remains will be available for public viewing at the NCPA Lawns in Nariman Point before the state funeral in Worli, according to government and Tata Group officials.

The state of Maharashtra has declared a day of mourning in honor of the business titan. The Tricolour will be flown at half-mast at all government buildings, and there will be no official entertainment events on this day.
