Stacey Williams alleges groping by Donald Trump in front of Jeffrey Epstein
In a public statement this week, Stacey Williams, a 56-year-old writer and former Sports Illustrated swimsuit model, accused Donald Trump of groping her 31 years ago while Jeffrey Epstein watched. Williams shared her experience during a “Survivors for Kamala” Zoom event, which featured several women discussing sexual violence and included notable figures like Ashley Judd and Tarana Burke, the founder of the #MeToo movement.
During the call, Williams, a registered Democrat, expressed her motivation for coming forward, stating, “I’m ready to win this election. The thought of that monster being back in the White House is my absolute worst nightmare.” Although she emphasized her personal reasons for speaking out, she denied any collaboration with Kamala Harris’ campaign.
Trump’s campaign spokesperson dismissed Williams’ claims, labeling them as “unequivocally false.” NBC News spoke with seven individuals who corroborated that Williams discussed her encounter with Trump from 2006 to 2022, finding her account credible and consistent.
Williams described first meeting Epstein in 1992 and recalled a visit to Trump Tower in the winter of 1993, where she alleged Trump groped her in a reception area outside his office while conversing with Epstein. Williams stated that Trump’s behavior left her feeling humiliated and confused.
Following the encounter, she received a postcard from Trump, which she shared with NBC News. Williams, who never reported the incident to authorities, said she gradually became more comfortable sharing her story, highlighting the lasting harm of sexual assault.
