Supriya Sule leads India’s anti-terror push in South Africa
An all-party delegation led by NCP (SP) MP Supriya Sule met key South African leaders in Cape Town to emphasize India’s unified and firm stand against terrorism.
The visit is part of India’s global outreach following the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack and Operation Sindoor, a targeted military response. The delegation met South Africa’s Deputy Minister Kenneth Morolong, who assured that India’s concerns would be relayed to the Presidency.
Meetings were also held with Democratic Alliance leader John Steenhuisen and the Parliamentary Committee on International Relations. South African leaders expressed solidarity with the victims and backed India’s stand against cross-border terrorism.
The delegation began its visit with a tribute to the Pahalgam victims and later engaged with the Indian diaspora in Johannesburg.
