An Indian parliamentary delegation led by Congress MP Shashi Tharoor arrived in Colombia as part of Operation Sindoor, continuing its Latin American outreach to assert India’s strong stand against terrorism.

Tharoor shared updates from Bogota, noting a briefing by Ambassador Vanlalhuma, media engagements, and an interview with Colombian journalist Juan Camillo Ramirez.

The multi-party delegation, including MPs Tejasvi Surya, Milind Deora, and others, will meet Colombian lawmakers and policy leaders through May 31 to deepen bilateral ties and highlight India’s zero-tolerance approach to terrorism.

This follows their visit to Panama, where senior officials voiced support for India’s anti-terror efforts and bilateral cooperation.
