Indian MPs brief diplomats, Indonesian leaders on Operation Sindoor

An Indian all-party parliamentary delegation led by JD(U) MP Sanjay Kumar Jha met political leaders and diplomats from 20 countries in Jakarta on Thursday, reinforcing India’s global outreach against cross-border terrorism.

The delegation briefed foreign envoys and Indonesian think tanks on Operation Sindoor and the April 22 Pahalgam attack, stressing India’s zero-tolerance policy on terrorism. They emphasized that talks and terror cannot coexist and urged support for holding Pakistan accountable.

Later, the MPs met leaders of Indonesia’s National Mandate Party (PAN), including Eddy Soeparno and Viva Yoga Mauladi, discussing democratic cooperation and regional peace. The delegation also engaged with Indonesian research institutions, reiterating that dismantling terror infrastructure and vacating Pakistan-occupied Kashmir remain India’s strategic goals.
