India, Saudi Arabia vow joint fight against terrorism
An Indian all-party parliamentary delegation led by BJP MP Baijayant Jay Panda visited Saudi Arabia on Thursday, emphasizing India’s zero-tolerance stance on terrorism and the strategic significance of Operation Sindoor.
During a session with the Gulf Research Centre, the delegation discussed security cooperation and India’s new policy approach to terrorism. At Naif Arab University for Security Sciences, they explored opportunities for joint research and education on counterterrorism.
The delegation also held meetings with Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Adel al-Jubeir and the Shura Council, expressing gratitude for Saudi Arabia’s condemnation of the April 22 Pahalgam attack. Both nations agreed on the need to dismantle terror infrastructure and prevent extremism.
