PM Modi: India Aims to Contribute to Global Prosperity, Not Dominate
Prime Minister Modi stated that India seeks to play a role in fostering global prosperity rather than striving for dominance. He emphasized the country’s commitment to collaboration and mutual growth on the international stage.
During his speech, he introduced a new concept for India’s development using the Hindi word ‘Pushp’ (flower). Each letter signifies a key aspect: P for Progressive India, U for Unstoppable India, S for Spiritual India, H for Humanity-first India, and P for Prosperous India. He pledged that in his third term, his government would work with increased speed and determination to achieve its goals.
Modi also expressed gratitude for President Joe Biden’s warm welcome during his visit to Delaware, highlighting that it reflected respect for the Indian people and the Indian-American community.
Reflecting on his earlier visits to the US before entering politics, Modi noted that he had traveled to 29 states.
The Prime Minister shared his thoughts on artificial intelligence, stating that while it may represent Artificial Intelligence, it also symbolizes the spirit of collaboration between America and India.
He was speaking at the event titled ‘Modi & US: Progress Together’ held at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, located about 50 kilometers from Manhattan. Modi has consistently engaged with the Indian diaspora during his visits to the US, including notable events at Madison Square Garden in 2014, San Jose in 2015, and the “Howdy Modi” rally in Houston in 2019.
According to organizers, the Nassau event drew 15,000 attendees, with Indian-Americans traveling from across the country to show their support, underscoring Modi’s strong popularity within the community.
