Ravi Shankar Prasad leads France outreach under Operation Sindoor
Senior BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad led an all-party Indian parliamentary delegation to France as part of Operation Sindoor, reaffirming India’s firm stand against cross-border terrorism. The visit aimed to strengthen global awareness of India’s counter-terror strategy following the April 22 Pahalgam attack.
During a community interaction in Paris, Prasad praised the Indian diaspora for their strong show of support. “The diaspora’s powerful display of solidarity was both impressive and deeply emotional,” he posted on X.
The delegation also held an in-depth session with French think tanks, briefing them on India’s zero-tolerance approach and the strategic goals of Operation Sindoor. The discussions focused on India’s evolving security doctrine and its emphasis on targeted and proportionate responses to terrorism.
The delegation, representing various political parties, includes Daggubati Purandeswari, Priyanka Chaturvedi, Ghulam Ali Khatana, Amar Singh, Samik Bhattacharya, M. Thambidurai, M.J. Akbar, and Pankaj Saran. Their European tour will also include stops in Italy, the UK, Germany, and Denmark.
This bipartisan outreach underscores India’s united political front in the fight against terrorism and the importance of international collaboration in countering global threats.
