Sanjay Jha leads Singapore outreach under Operation Sindoor
A multi-party Indian parliamentary delegation led by JD(U) MP Sanjay Jha arrived in Singapore on Tuesday as part of Operation Sindoor, India’s global outreach to highlight its zero-tolerance approach to terrorism.
The delegation met Sim Ann, Singapore’s Senior Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Home Affairs, and conveyed India’s firm stance following the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack. They emphasized the “new normal” in India’s counter-terror policy — a calibrated, targeted, and proportionate response.
The team will engage further with Singaporean leaders, think tanks, academics, business leaders, media, and the Indian community to reinforce India’s collective resolve against cross-border terrorism.
Earlier, High Commissioner Shilpak Ambule briefed the delegation on the significance of India-Singapore cooperation in promoting global peace and security.
After completing visits to South Korea and Japan, the delegation is in Singapore to advance India’s anti-terror message as part of its broader diplomatic mission.
