Trump orders intensified deportation drive targeting major U.S. cities
U.S. President Donald Trump has directed Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials to significantly escalate deportation operations across key American cities, calling it the “largest mass deportation operation in history.”
The directive follows widespread protests in cities like Los Angeles, denouncing the administration’s aggressive immigration policies.
Taking to his platform, Truth Social, Trump praised ICE officers as “brave patriots” facing opposition from “radical Democrat politicians.” He instructed them to “do all in their power” to deliver mass deportations, particularly in cities such as Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York.
“These cities are the core of Democrat power, using illegal aliens to grow their voter base, cheat elections, and drain resources,” Trump claimed, also criticizing sanctuary cities for harboring undocumented migrants.
He asserted the crackdown was necessary to safeguard American communities from “illegal alien crime” and to restore law and order in what he described as “crime-ridden inner cities.”
The President emphasized that federal agencies—including ICE, Border Patrol, and other law enforcement bodies—would receive full support and resources to carry out the plan.
Trump also reiterated his stance against open borders, transgender rights, and what he called “men playing in women’s sports,” framing them as part of a broader ideological battle.
“Our federal government will continue to focus on the remigration of aliens and prevent entry of those who undermine our national security,” Trump said.
He concluded by encouraging federal officers to act swiftly: “Now go, get the job done!”
