Trump says US has ‘total control’ of Iranian airspace amid conflict

US President Donald Trump declared on Tuesday that the United States has “complete and total control” of the skies over Iran, amid ongoing aerial strikes between Israel and Iran.

Posting on his platform, Truth Social, Trump said that although Iran possesses strong air defence systems and sky-tracking technology, they are no match for American military capabilities.

“We now have complete and total control of the skies over Iran. Iran had good sky trackers and other defensive equipment, and plenty of it, but it doesn’t compare to American made, conceived, and manufactured ‘stuff.’ Nobody does it better than the good ol’ USA,” Trump stated.

Trump’s comments come as the Israel-Iran conflict entered its fifth day on Tuesday, with deadly missile exchanges and rising casualties reported on both sides. Israel has stated that its objective is to dismantle Iran’s nuclear capabilities.

Earlier in the day, Trump left the Group of Seven (G7) Summit in Canada and flew back to Washington. Speculation suggested he might be involved in ceasefire negotiations, but Trump dismissed the reports.

“Publicity-seeking President Emmanuel Macron, of France, mistakenly said that I left the G7 Summit in Canada to work on a ‘ceasefire’ between Israel and Iran,” Trump wrote. “Wrong! It has nothing to do with a ceasefire. Much bigger than that. Stay tuned!”

Trump also urged civilians in Tehran to evacuate amid worsening tensions. His strong remarks indicate continued American involvement and potential strategic oversight in the rapidly escalating Middle East crisis.
