Indian Seniors Chicago enjoy fun-filled Summer picnic at St. James Farm

 Indian Seniors Chicago brought together members for a memorable Summer Picnic 2026 on July 12 at St. James Farm in Warrenville, where approximately 380 members gathered for a day filled with fellowship, entertainment, games, and delicious food.

The day’s activities began with registration from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., followed by a warm welcome for all attendees with refreshing beverages, including lemonade, Pepsi, orange drinks, and other cold refreshments.

Members then enjoyed a hearty lunch creating a festive atmosphere as friends and families spent time together. Following lunch, President Kantibhai Patel and Vice President Navinbhai Patel welcomed the members and shared important information regarding the organization’s activities and the picnic program. The celebration also included a special birthday recognition for members born in the month of July and everyone extended warm wishes to the birthday celebrants.

The gathering then observed a devotional moment with the collective recitation of the Hanuman Chalisa, after which Hemant Modi presented the organization’s June income and expenditure report, keeping members informed about the association’s financial activities.

The afternoon was filled with lively entertainment as members enthusiastically participated in Antakshari, enjoying classic Bollywood songs. Recreational activities continued with ball games, bingo, and other fun competitions organized by Jayesh Shah and Daksha Parikh, with prizes awarded to the winners.
