
Sundar Kand recitation and Ram Leela to illuminate Naperville this Saturday
A spiritually enriching evening of devotion, culture, and community will take place this Saturday at Barsana Banquet Hall (ISKCON Naperville), as devotees and families from across the Chicagoland area gather for a Sunder Kand Path and Ram Leela celebration.
Organized by a team including Prashant Tyagi, Inderjeet, Mayank Malik, Dr. Raj Raghav, Gopal Hari Das, and Amara Devi Dasi, the event promises a vibrant cultural and devotional experience.
The evening will begin at 6:00 PM with Maha Arati, followed at 6:30 PM by a recitation of the Sundar Kand, a revered section of the Ramayana highlighting the devotion and courage of Hanuman.
At 8:00 PM, attendees will witness a Ram Leela performance depicting episodes from the life of Lord Rama, accompanied by kirtan and bhajans encouraging community participation.
The event is open to all with free entry, and festival food will be available for attendees.
