Sunderkand recitation creates devotional atmosphere at Siddh Peeth Mahabali Sankatmochan Temple

The Siddh Peeth Mahabali Sankatmochan Shri Hanuman Temple, Joshi Nagar Dham, Shankaracharya Nagar, observed the sacred Ekadashi occasion with its weekly havan yajna and evening devotional program in an atmosphere of faith and devotion.

The program was organized under the leadership of temple president Aman Jain, chairman Rishi Jain and vice president Anuj Madan. A large number of devotees visited the temple and sought blessings at the shrine of Shri Balaji Maharaj.

As part of the Ekadashi observance, the temple management and devotees performed traditional prayers for the well-being of all. This was followed by a havan yajna, during which prayers were offered for world peace, prosperity and the welfare of humanity.

The evening devotional program featured a musical recitation of Sunderkand, the fifth section of the Shri Ramcharitmanas, by Bhai Mukesh and his group. The recitation filled the temple premises with devotional chants, with devotees participating in prayers dedicated to Lord Shri Ram and Shri Balaji Maharaj.

Holy water from Salasar Dham and Mehandipur Balaji Dham was sprinkled among devotees as part of the religious observances. A sacred flag was also unfurled before Shri Balaji Maharaj, followed by prayers for peace, prosperity, the progress of Sanatan Dharma and the welfare of humanity.

The program concluded with a collective recitation of the Hanuman Chalisa, after which prasad was distributed among devotees.

Speaking about the significance of Sunderkand, the temple management said that it is not only a religious recitation but also conveys messages of devotion, courage, faith, service and surrender to the divine. The story of Lord Hanuman’s unwavering devotion to Lord Shri Ram, they said, offers inspiration to remain patient and confident while facing difficult circumstances.

The management also said that religious programs at the temple are intended to connect devotees with Sanatan traditions and spiritual values. Such gatherings also provide an opportunity for community members to come together and promote harmony, service and spiritual awareness.

A large number of devotees and community members attended the program.
