Preity Zinta takes a holy dip at Maha Kumbh
Bollywood actress Preity Zinta joined millions of devotees in taking a holy dip at the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj. The ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’ actress shared a picture from the sacred event, wearing a garland around her neck and a tika on her forehead.
In her caption, she wrote, “All roads lead to the Maha Kumbh… Satyam Shivam Sundaram.” Along with Preity Zinta, other Bollywood stars like Katrina Kaif and Akshay Kumar also visited the Maha Kumbh on Monday. Katrina was spotted with her mother-in-law, while several other celebrities including Sonali Bendre, Vidyut Jammwal, Boney Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Tamannaah Bhatia, Nimrat Kaur, and Chandan Roy Sanya also took a dip in the holy waters in recent weeks.
Earlier, Preity Zinta responded to trolls questioning her personal choices by quoting an iconic dialogue from her film “Veer Zara.” Addressing those who criticized her decision to marry Gene Goodenough, she shared Shah Rukh Khan’s famous line, “Kabhi bhi ek dost ki zarurat pade to yaad rakhiyega, ki sarhad paar ek aisa shakhs hai jo aap ke liye apni jaan bhi de dega.”
On the work front, Preity Zinta is gearing up for her Bollywood comeback with Rajkumar Santoshi’s upcoming period drama, Lahore 1947. The movie will feature Sunny Deol in the lead role.
Preity Zinta made her Bollywood debut in 1998 with Dil Se and went on to star in several hit films like Veer-Zara, Kal Ho Na Ho, and Koi Mil Gaya.
