PM Modi Congratulates Nayab Singh Saini on Haryana Poll Victory

Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Tuesday following his party’s decisive victory in the Assembly elections.

Former Haryana CM and Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar praised PM Modi and the BJP’s performance, stating, “The people have sent a clear message that our work under PM Modi’s leadership resonates with them. For the first time, the BJP has secured a third consecutive term in Haryana, a record-breaking achievement. No party has done as much for farmers, wrestlers, and soldiers as we have.”

Khattar highlighted the public’s approval of the BJP’s governance, saying, “Our high command has announced Nayab Singh Saini as Chief Minister, though the final decision will be made by the parliamentary board.”

He reminisced about the 2014 election slogan, “Haryana is one, Haryanvi is one,” emphasizing that he considers all people of Haryana family. “Our Chief Minister has always worked for the welfare of the people,” Khattar added.

Addressing the opposition’s campaign strategy, he stated, “The Congress ran a negative campaign filled with lies and misinformation. The people saw through it and chose to reject them.”

When asked what went wrong for the Congress, Khattar noted that only they could answer that question. The Congress has criticized the Election Commission for slow counting, to which Khattar responded that the party is known for blaming others for its defeats.

He underscored the BJP’s achievements, particularly in supporting farmers and athletes, asserting, “The BJP has done more for farmers than Congress could ever envision. The electorate’s refusal to be misled speaks volumes about our work. I extend my gratitude to the people of Haryana and our party workers for this remarkable victory.”

According to the latest data from the Election Commission, the BJP is on track to win at least 50 seats, ensuring a comfortable majority in the 90-member Assembly. This historic win marks a significant milestone for the BJP, securing a third consecutive term in Haryana.
